Broads Fork Twin Peaks is also recorded as Salt Lake Twin Peaks, although Broads Fork is the more common name. The Twin Peaks massif forms the western limit of the Cottonwood Ridge, between Little Cottonwood Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon. From its summit, the mountain falls 7,000 feet to the floor of the Salt Lake Valley, and holds an imposing position along the Salt Lake City skyline. There are scramble ascents and ski descents on every face of the twins peaks. The three best are Broads Fork, Lisa Falls and Stairs Gulch. The summit of Broads Fork Twin Peaks is also combined with the summits of Sunrise Peak and Dromedary Peak to complete the Triple Traverse route, which is a spring Wasatch alpine classic.
