Cathedral Peak is a triangular granite spire in the Tuolumne Meadows of Yosemite National Park. It’s a stunning mountain from every angle. Cathedral Peak boasts the most-climbed multi-pitch route in all of Tuolumne—the Southeast Buttress. This is a phenomenal 5.6 route, on perfect granite, with astounding views. The Southeast Buttress also has numerous variations that can make it more challenging. In combination with a climb up the north face of Eichorn Pinnacle, this is one of the more enjoyable and exposed moderate routes in all of Yosemite. Because of its popularity, it's recommended to climb this peak on a weekday to avoid large crowds.
